Proud father and eager, hardworking warrior. He is the always optimistic and playful one who all the young cats adore. Kits especially love playing in his thick pelt.

Approaches his father, Wildheart with Crowhop who ask to be Pinespur's mate. Maggotbounce affectionately licks Pinespur's ear, saying he's luck to have a cat as nice as Crowhop. Comforts his father when Maggotbounce goes missing and helps lift Maggotbounce onto Wildheart's back after she returns and collapses.
When Sootpaw plots to hunt a caribou, she mentions that Buckstripe's hunt a quarter moon ago would have succeeded if Pinespur hadn't gotten his foot caught.
